Fenner is a talented violinist based in Cheltenham (UK), with years of performing experience in both jazz and classical styles. He is a proficient sight-reader and a skilful improviser, and is available for depping and session work.

Biography

Fenner first took up the violin at an early age. Tuition from Birmingham Conservatoire was followed by self-taught swing techniques and improvisation, and he is proficient in both jazz and classical styles.

Alongside Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt, Fenner counts Artie Shaw, Louis Prima, and the violinist Florin Niculescu among his inspirations, and he has performed at many prestigious venues such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, and jazz festivals including Brecon, Bude and Cheltenham.
